A seasoned Laparoscopic, Hernia, and Breast Surgeon

Dr. Shazia Waghoo, is an experienced Laparoscopic, Hernia, and Breast Surgeon based in Mumbai. She brings over a decade of experience to her role as a Consultant Surgeon. An alumni of Government Medical College, Kolhapur and Saifee Hospital, Mumbai where she received her formal surgical training. She later joined HBT Medical College, and R N Cooper Hospital as a senior Registrar where she was then promoted to the post of “Consultant Surgeon.”

She currently serves as a Consultant at several hospitals including Criticare Asia Group of Hospitals, Surya Hospitals, Sushrut Hospital, RG Stone Hospital, and SRV Hospital. She has been trained in Breast, Hernia, GI and Laparoscopic surgeries during her stint at Saifee Hospital and HBT Medical College. She is on a mission to spread awareness of women’s breast health: precautions for early screening and detection of cancer as well as awarenesss for Hernia and other surgical issues. Dr. Waghoo is also a passionate advocate for patient education, pre-surgery counseling, and cancer awareness, leading initiatives such as screening camps and awareness lectures at offices, corporations, and colleges for the last several years.
